Aim

waramanga medical centre

The Aim of the Waramanga Medical Centre is to provide a comprehensive and caring General Practice service to all individuals and families of the Weston Creek area. All patient consultations and medical records are kept strictly confidential. This practice participates in the national/state and territory reminder systems/registers and as a patient of this practice your information will be automatically supplied to these data bases (such as pathology providers). We also engage in the teaching of medical students and other allied health professionals, which will occasionally involve patients having the option of having these students observing in their consultation. All patients will be required to provide verbal consent prior to having these students in their consultation.

Urgent medical cases are dealt with promptly, Home visits are arranged by appointment, however are restricted to the Woden/Weston Creek area to existing patients.

All our Doctors are undergoing, or have satisfied, the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Remote and Rural Medicine. They are on the Vocational Register, thereby allowing for Medicare rebates to be paid.

Capital Pathology is located in the bottom waiting room. They are open from 8am - 12 midday, Monday to Friday. They are a walk in service so an appointment is generally not required. Please call Capital Pathology on 62885693 to arrange an appointment if you require an ECG or a Glucose Tolerance Test. Please take a number when you arrive and relax in the waiting room.
